In a down economy, there’s nothing like developing a plan to save money.
Here are a few easy ways to get started…
1. Lose the Landline! If you have an Internet connection that is not through a land telephone line and have access to a computer at your home, you do not need a landline telephone and the fat bill that goes with it – just look at how much this landline has cost you over the past year! Check out an extremely reliable Voip service that has all the bells and whistles by clicking the call button that I have located in the top righthand corner of the front page of this website. Your cost for a complete year of Voip service can easily be less than what you pay for a single month of landline telephone service, and you’ll get quite a few extra features that you can’t even get from a landline provider.
2. Stop eating out so often. Eating out is one of those methods of spending that when all said and done leaves you with absolutely nothing to show for it – so stop eating out so frequently. A good rule of thumb is to reduce your average monthly dollars used in eating out by 50%. This still allows you the option of eating out but easily controls your wallet. It also helps you to be more selective in the choices of where to eat. Further, if you’re on a diet, there’s nothing worse than spending your hard-earned money to eat out and actually paying someone to provide you with too many bad calories! Think about it!?!?
3. Instead of spending money each month on cable or satellite television service, get a HD antenna and put the money you’ll save back in your wallet! In a metropolitan area, a HD antenna will bring you all of your local channels (without paying extra) and numerous other channels. Speaking from the perspective of the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex, a HD antenna brings in 60-75 channels without even getting to the point of reading the instructions and focusing the antenna. Considering “paid” television services are money that is spent and has absolutely nothing to show for it once it’s gone, at least with the $45 that you’ll pay only once to buy a great HD antenna, you can admire the antenna itself if you like, then sit back and smile as you watch tv without the monthly sticker price…
Keep track of what you save each month from these three simple suggestions and see how easily your savings add up!
